Job Brief

• We are looking for a talented 3D Animator/ Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting, you will collaborate with other 3D animators to create compelling and eye-catching images and campaigns to increase our user base.


• Your duties also will include developing animations for digital platforms to enhance our accompanying text.

Job Responsibilities

• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.


• Create and design storyboards for digital media formats such as video games and fine-arts deliverables


• Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts based on brand guidelines.


• Ensure projects are completed promptly and are of high quality.


• Suggest and implement best practices and optimizations throughout animation projects.


• Collaborate with fellow animators using software such as Autodesk Maya to deliver a robust final animation


• Use a wide range of media and design software.


• Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications.


• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.


• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.


• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.


• Develop computer graphics and animations based on a detailed design brief.


• Manage multiple projects within design specs and budget restrictions.


• Determine voice and messaging for animated pieces.


• QA design for errors.


• Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.


• Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.


• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.


• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.


• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements and Skills

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Animation, 3D/GraphicDesign, Fine Arts, Cinematography or a related field.


• 2 - 3 experience as a Video Editor/3D Animator.


• A Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.


• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.


• Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.


• Knowledge of animation layouts, typography, print, and web.


• Experience with both print and digital media.
