Job Brief

Our Client is a fast rising group of companies in the clinical industry is looking for Medical Laboratory Scientists to assist the team of professionals to perform laboratory work following established clinical procedures and to perform chemical and biological tests on patient specimens for medical diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• Receive urine, blood or other samples for experimentation and analysis


• Prepare standard volumetric solutions or reagents to be combined with specimens


• Manage and operate laboratory equipment


• Test and study blood, urine and other body fluids


• Evaluate test results and prepare reports for physicians


• Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards


• Enhances the efficiency and accuracy of lab testing by maintaining adequate laboratory supplies, by keeping equipment in operational condition and by maintaining a clean and orderly laboratory work area.


• Guide and supervise junior staff and technicians

Requirements: 

• Qualified Applicants must reside in Owerri


• A bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science and complete an internship program.


• Medical laboratory scientists are required to be registered with the medical sciences council of their country of residence to practice.
