Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily chicken production process supervisions, oversights, monitoring, control and compliance.


• Ensure the birds are given enough food, water and shelter while ensuring that they remain healthy and free from diseases.


• Ensure that vaccines and Antibiotics are administered at the right time.


• Observe the behaviour of the chickens to detect changes in activity level or growth.


• Keep records of feed consumption and health conditions of the chicken.


• Ability to communicate and provide information to the CEO, managers or subordinates by telephone in written form, email or in person.


• Ensure the poultry farm is clean, the birds are neat and healthy.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Experience and Skills

• 1-2 years practical work experience in a poultry farm.


• Knowledge of Farming and Agriculture.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Residing in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
