Draft, analyze, proofread, and review contracts, agreements, legal documentations, reports, and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
Monitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained by the Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).
Provide advice on corporate legal issues and business matters.
Monitor and file tax returns at FIRS/LIRS.
Preparation and vetting of court processes.
Management of court cases.
Review and advice on legal implications of legislations, policies, guidelines etc.
Conduct accurate research and analysis of legal problems.
Maintain a comprehensive and accurate recordsof documents and correspondence.
Organize and facilitate meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, compiling documents, and taking minutes of meeting.
Assist the Partners with daily administrative duties including managing an active calendar of appointments; completing reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging travel plans, itineraries, and agendas etc.
Provide all such other administrative and legal support as directed by the Partners.
