Black Diamond Engineering Limited, a construction and building engineering company, is seeking interested and qualified candidate(s) to fill the role of a of *QUANTITY SURVEYOR*

*LOCATION: Lekki, Lagos*

*RESPONSIBILITIES*

*Pre-Contract*

• Preparation and submission of documents for tender bid i.e., costing, taking-off, analysis and compilation of tender submission and etc.


• Attend tender briefing and site visit with Senior Manager/Manager followed by preparation of site visit report.


• Assist in value engineering, cost optimization and budget setting.

*Post-Contract*

• Prepare sub-contract tender document for Procurement, evaluation report and Letter of Award to successful sub-contractors.


• Prepare and submit monthly progress payment.


• Attend to site evaluation / joint measurement.


• Review, recommend, certify and ‘check n balance’ of sub-contractors’ payment.


• Prepare and submit variation order and claims. Prepare final measurement and account.


• Assist in value engineering, cost optimization and budget setting

*REQUIREMENT*

• B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering or related field.


• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry.


• Professional certification such as Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (QSRBN) and other Professional bodies will be an added advantage.
