Job Objective
The Country Marketing Manager will be responsible for localising WIOCC Group companies’ brand, messaging, and campaigns in one of its key markets. You’ll play an important role in growing business in Nigeria, working closely with the Group Marketing organisation, Product Management and Nigeria Sales team to develop and implement/coordinate in-country promotional activities, advertising, event participation, social media communications, case studies and other marketing activities, as well as managing local media agencies. You’ll play a vital role in feeding back product ideas and in coordinating production of localised content that truly addresses the local market.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creation and execution of country marketing plans, including identification and monitoring of KPIs
- Interaction with key clients and prospects to understand their experience and expectations to ensure that we deliver the best possible client experience
- Identifying new marketing channels specific to the country
- Working with Group Marketing to specify and create compelling content for the local market, including branding, messaging and collateral
- Managing and maintaining productive partnerships with local media contacts and agencies
- Specifying and coordinating local PR execution, and contribute to maintaining an exceptional social media presence
- Providing feedback and industry-specific insights to Group Marketing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing or equivalent
Experience & Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing
- Excellent knowledge of, and experience in, using Digital Marketing/Social Media channels
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of telecommunications, data centre and cloud technologies
- Great communicator, able to engage productively with clients and partners
- A passion for explaining complex solutions in simple terms
- Ability to work as a part of a team but also independently and demonstrable ability to manage
and prioritise multiple projects
