Job Summary
As a commercial finance manager, you will help Sabi evaluate financial information to assess our strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies to decrease costs, reduce waste and implement strategies to improve financial stability across the business.
Job Description
- Function as a business partner to functional bussiness units like Commercial, Fulfillment, etc.
- Actively coordinate preparation of the annual business plan and drive aligned strategy execution.
- Provide specialist financial and commercial advice to operational management, driving financial performance through commercially sound decision making and analysis.
- Own the monthly reporting cycle, ensuring an accurate picture of business performance, drives, and risks and opportunities
- Partner Sales & Marketing and business development team throughout all planning & reporting cycles
- Business partnering with multiple stakeholders across the business to set strategic directions, discuss productivity improvements, evaluate decisions, and support the overall business function. Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
- Helping stakeholders to understand their financial decisions and monitoring performance against their business targets.
- Manage a team of financial analysts who develop financial and valuation models, materials, and recommendations by conducting comprehensive financial analyses and utilizing appropriate valuation methods executive decision-making
- Performs other duties as directed.
Job Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field of study . With relevant certifications (ACCA, ACA)
- Minimum of 10 years Finance experience with a minimum of 6 years similar role or partnering with sales/commercial function.
- Considerable industry exposure in FMCG, Distribution and E-commerce operations experience is a plus.
- A sound understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting and commercial partnering.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting and other Accounting software.
- Excellent communication, organization, supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
- Must exhibit the highest level of personal and professional reliability, honesty, integrity, and trust.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies.
