We're looking for a creative Art Director who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of figuring out what makes customers "click." To create an overall concept, you will collaborate with a design-savvy team.
The goal would be to translate marketing and branding strategies into creative and eye-catching campaigns that engage and excite targeted audiences.
Responsibilities
- Create clear ideas and concepts in collaboration with the copywriter.
- Create sketches, storyboards, and roughs to help you visualize your ideas.
- Recognize marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target demographics.
- Collaborate with the rest of the creative team on various types of media.
- Work from concept to completion within deadlines.
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers, as well as provide guidance.
- Clients/team members should be shown completed ideas.
- Maintain best practices and stay on top of all trends.
Requirements and skills
- Working experience as an Art Director is required.
- Extensive knowledge of logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design.
- Use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools is required.
- Graphic design skills and a strong portfolio are required.
- Take and give direction well, and incorporate feedback.
- Team player with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Education or training that is relevant.
