Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
Client contracts initiation, review and documentation
Advise clients on business products or services
Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate
Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
Must have 3 - 5 years’ E-commerce sales experience.
Previous business development management experience within a fast-paced organization
Have a strong analytical and execution mindset
Likes wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing ambitious startup environment
Detail oriented, solutions-focused and is constantly looking for ways to improve and speed up execution
Highly collaborative and yet independent in creatively unblocking challenges and finding alternatives
Can work with little guidance
Likes being hands on and wants to get things done
Fluent in spoken and written English
Great negotiator
Decision making skills
Ability to build rapport
