Job Responsibilities



  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets

  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers

  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients

  • Client contracts initiation, review and documentation

  • Advise clients on business products or services

  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department

  • Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate

  • Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate

  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.

  • Any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree

  • Must have 3 - 5 years’ E-commerce sales experience.

  • Previous business development management experience within a fast-paced organization

  • Have a strong analytical and execution mindset

  • Likes wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing ambitious startup environment

  • Detail oriented, solutions-focused and is constantly looking for ways to improve and speed up execution

  • Highly collaborative and yet independent in creatively unblocking challenges and finding alternatives

  • Can work with little guidance

  • Likes being hands on and wants to get things done

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Great negotiator

  • Decision making skills

  • Ability to build rapport

  • A ‘change the world’ mindset and a can-do attitude
