Job Objective



  • The Group Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day global financial operations system and ensuring effective reporting, control, compliance, audits, capital expenditure, investments and assets, for the global operations of the company.


Key Responsibilities



  • Preparation of consolidated management accounts.

  • Ensure proper records of Debtors/Creditors manual ledger are kept and tally with company records and regular circularization.

  • Ensure proper accounting records are kept, classified and summarized.

  • Communication of timely and accurate information to relevant stakeholders.

  • Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and annual financial reporting for relevant stakeholders, including the GCEO, Directors, Trustees and donors.

  • Responsible for Budget and Budgetary control system.

  • Management of Company Accounting Software, troubleshooting and correcting challenges.

  • Ensure Bank Reconciliation Statements are properly and promptly prepared.

  • Plan, organize and execute the preparation of tax accounts.

  • Ensure compliance to all statutory obligations promptly and liaise with regulatory agencies (Local, State and Federal)

  • Ensure strict financial cost control in the group.

  • Ensure adequate financial reporting to COO/CEO.

  • Supervise the accounting activities of the branches and visit when necessary.

  • Financial Portfolio Management and advice management on financial matter.

  • Any other job that may be assigned.

  • Stakeholders, Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable Officer, Auditor, Top Management, Clients and Staff


Qualification and Experience



  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / M.Sc Degree in Accounting

  • ICAN Qualification

  • 7 years+ post qualification experience

  • Use of accounting software (ERP,SAP)

  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow modeling, audit, tax and compliance obligations accounting

Salary Range

N800,000 - N1,000,000 / Month.
