The role will

• Serve as an advisor to the management on all matters pertaining to insurance brokerage.


• Build and maintain business relationships with clients.


• Schedule and attend meetings on behalf of the company.


• Represent the organization in meetings and biddings especially with agencies and parastatals responsible for the collection of bids.


• Negotiate policy terms and costs with insurance providers and arrange insurance cover for clients with the insurance provider.


• Prepare reports for insurance underwriter


• Renewing or amending existing insurance policies for clients.


• Undertaking general administrative duties.


• Develop and implement departmental policies and workflows associated with the administration of brokerage management reporting and records management, ensuring compliance with the required standards issued by the Company’s Management and as by law.


• Prepare and send the necessary NAICOM reports as at when due.


• Ensure all necessary payments are remitted to underwriters as at when due.


• Performs other related Insurance duties as assigned by the Management

You should have

• Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or closely related field.


• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Insurance Brokerage firm


• Good knowledge of Microsoft office application such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.


• Technical/insurance product knowledge
