Principal Duties and Responsibilities



  • Ensuring and providing flawless, upscale, professional and high class guest service experiences

  • Analyzing customer feedback and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating

  • Responding to guests needs and anticipating their unstated ones

  • Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in

  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, including reservations and financial transactions

  • Actively listen to and resolve complaints

  • Ensure special guests, like disabled people, elderly, children and VIPs, receive personalized services

  • Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure customer concerns are resolved timely & efficiently

  • Inform clients of hotel services, including breakfast and dining options

  • Promote all hotel amenities, conveniences and programs offered

  • Maintain up-to date information on room rates, current promotions, offers and packages

  • Maintain all guest folios in the manner instructed and type out necessary guest likes and dislikes for decision making.

  • Co-ordinate with housekeeping for clearing of rooms.

  • Collect Guest feedback during guest departure along with his likes and dislikes.

  • Ensure that all check-ins and check-outs are handled smoothly without unnecessary delay or discomfort to any guest.

  • Participates in revenue/yield management efforts of the Hotel

  • Analyze customer feedback from hotel guestbook and online reviews and suggest ways to improve rating

  • Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see

  • Establish friendly relationships with regular hotel clients


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 3-5 years work experience.

  • Must be able to handle all guests without bias or prejudice.

  • Consciously and continuously strive to better his/ her skills and increase his/ her knowledge.

  • Good command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal

  • Must possess strong organization time management skills, attention to details;

  • Must be guest service focused and a team player.;

  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality is essential.

  • Professional in demeanor and presentation.

  • Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Observant, discriminating and detail-oriented

  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
