RECRUITMENT THROUGH WAVE


Our client, a multi-disciplinary professional (real estate-based) firm with over two decades of successful operations, is currently undergoing a business restructuring process and is looking to hire a General Manager (Operations) to manage its business operations (largely internal business operations and oversight functions on field operations).


 


Position: General Manager, Operations


Location: Victoria Island, Lagos.


Salary: N250 - 300k (depending on experience and capability)


 


Responsibilities:




  • Develop or Improve existing organizational structure and reporting units into the functional and effective structures.




  • Work with the management to develop strategic business goals to support. business growth, organizational performance, and productivity.




  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the various units and ensure effective and efficient management of departmental operations on the one hand, and the business operations generally.




  • Develop operational processes, structures, policies, and procedures for effective management of business operations, which include but are not limited to Administrative Operation, Financial Management, Site/Project Operations, and Client Service Delivery.




  • Proactively strive to have an in-depth understanding of the organisation’s industry trends, practices, and opportunities and advise management on initiatives or strategies that would help to position the business, improve revenue generation, enhance corporate performance and productivity, brand image, and facilitate client acquisition and retention.




  • Collaborate with key team members to provide relevant periodic reports and performance reviews necessary for taking business decisions and mitigating business risks.




  • Oversee the operations of field, sales, and project teams.




  • Motivate and Coach employees for optimal performance and personal development.




Requirements




  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field




  • Minimum 4 years’ practical work experience in a managerial and operational capacity




  • Experience in change management is an added advantage




  • Entrepreneurial mindset and approach to work




  • Organisational, Administrative, and Operations Management skills




  • Managerial and Leadership Skills




  • Proactive and Creative Skills




  • Understanding of Business Units and the Economic Space




  • Numerical and Analytical Skills




  • Computer Literate and Tech Savy




  • Proximity to Location (Victoria Island, Lagos)
