Job Summary: After the sale is closed by the Business Development team, the goal of the Project Management Lead is to plan the installation and ensure that the Technical Operations team has everything required for a successful installation. Thus, Project Management Lead is also responsible for managing the procurement of all necessary equipment for Installation as well as Inventory Management. 


Job Responsibilities:




  • This role is responsible for overall planning of Installation projects and ensuring that required components are in place for all installation projects (Project planning, logistics and scheduling).




  • Managing communication with customers during the lifecycle of the installation till they are handed over to CX




  • This role takes over responsibility for the project from Business Development, as soon as the sale is closed and makes sure the Installation team are ready to execute.




  • This role is responsible for managing the relationship with suppliers to ensure prompt order, purchase and delivery of components as well as managing warranty issues. 




  • This role has responsibility for managing, tracking and reconciling the inventory of all items used for installation of projects; as well as maintaining re-order level as required.




  • This role will provide first-line technical support around solution architecture, electrical drawings and audits for custom projects – for those larger than our standard day-to-day products.




  • This role will put together Installation Close-out Reports (working closely with the Engineering Team), ensuring that completed projects are handed off to customer and CX 




  • Ensure proper documentation of installation projects and history that impacts your role

Qualifications:




  • BSc/HND holder




  • Certification in Project Management




  • At least 3 years relevant experience in Project Management (particularly in Solar Installation projects) 




  • Ability to speak and write English language effectively




  • Good interpersonal skills developed by working in similar or relevant role




  • Comfortable using computers




  • Good usage of Microsoft office (emphasis on word, excel & powerpoint)




  • Ability to use Google suites
