Job Description

Our client; a reputable firm in the MANUFACTURING sector is looking to fill the role of a SENIOR IT OFFICER

SLOT: (2 SLOT)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and updating IT policies and procedures based on industry best practices


• Reviewing reports from other departments that use IT services to ensure that they are functioning properly


• Planning, designing, and implementing new computer hardware or software systems


• Coordinating the implementation of new technology within an organization, including working with vendors, consulting with IT staff, and communicating with management


• Supervising IT staff such as computer programmers, systems analysts, and network engineers


• Managing IT budgets and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within time and budget constraints


• Coordinating the design, development, testing, and implementation of computer systems for large companies


• Developing security measures to protect computer networks from unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software


• Providing technical support to end users regarding the use of computer applications or hardware products


• Working with team members to ensure the constant success of all company IT projects.


• Work with hardware team in order to integrate the hardware with the software efficiently


• Modification of software to fix errors, identify and adapt hardware, improve performance or upgrade interface. 


• Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modification of existing system. 


• Identifying and developing software/solutions systems using coding, scientific analysis & mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences. 

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field


• Minimum of 5 years experience in IT management preferably a senior role. 


• Proven track record of successful IT project management and delivery


• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Certification in an IT related course is an added advantage.


• Knowledge of SAP and CCTV is a MUST.


• Working knowledge of Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology
