Responsibilities 



  • Manage the credit application and automation process, evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers’ applications.

  • Ensure the credit scoring model is adequate for the risk assessment process.

  • Recommend approvals and reject loans based on an effective credit assessment process.

  • Ensuring all loan and lending procedures comply with regulations.

  • Monitoring loan payment and collection.

  • Ensuring zero tolerance on collections and repayments; escalate and follow up on defaulters on a weekly basis based on the credit policy framework.

  • Manage and maintain a healthy loan portfolio ratio within the NPL threshold.

  • Ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of new loan clients.

  • Interviewing applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans

  • Determining all applicable ratios and metrics and setting up debt payment plans

  • Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services

  • Maintain and update account records

  • Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans

  • Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas

  • Take personal responsibility and initiative to pursue loan recovery on all accounts under your portfolio  

  • Cross-selling other financial services and products, such as risk assets to existing and prospective clients. Also, referring clients to in-house financial advice when necessary.  

  • Daily monitoring of existing loan client’s expected repayment schedules and all missed payments are escalated to credit portfolio manage daily  

  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly Marketing/Sales reports for Management review  

  • Resolving client’s queries and complaints  

  • Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports  

  • Attend weekly and monthly Performance Review Meetings 


Requirements



  • Bsc in adminstration, finance or related fields

  • Experience in a financial industry
