Job Brief

• We are looking for a Proposal Writer to produce high-quality proposals that contributes to the overall success of our sales.


• You will join our talented growth team who work collaboratively with Software engineers, web developers and product managers to close business deals on Upwork on other platforms.

Responsibilities

• Write job winning proposals on Upwork and other platforms.


• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.


• Produce sales closing proposal that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.


• Rewrite proposals according to feedback


• Write copies with a consistent tone


• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities


• Meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND qualification with 1 - 2 years work experience.


• Proven working experience in technical writing/proposal writing


• Ability to deliver high quality proposal paying attention to detail


• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures


• Excellent written and oral skills in English


• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint


• Basic familiarity with the SDLC, Software development, Web development, WordPress, Shopify and Laravel


• Must be team player.
