Job Duties

• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.


• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.


• Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.


• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Educational Qualification and Experiences

• Candidates should possess an SSCE, NABTEB or City & Guilds certificate


• 1 -3 years apprenticeship program under an experienced electrician


• 3 years experience as a general electrician

Skills Required:

• Versed in identifying electrical problems and providing solutions to resolve such issues.


• Good knowledge of Residential electrical and pipe-fitting work.


• Proactive and reliable, able to thrive working in a busy environment.


• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks


• Strong attention to detail


• Strong work ethic and high level of integrity


• Well-developed organisational skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision


• Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage.

Remuneration

N50,000 to N70,000 / Month
