The Regional Technical Officer will supervise the day-to-day activities of the regional operations team, providing guidance and tactical leadership ensuring the integrity of the network.
Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance:
Complete Monthly PPM planning
Ensure the availability of PPM spares in the regional warehouse
Ensure PPM is executed in line with plan and PPM checklist
Audits of all sites to ensure 100% compliance
Provide PPM execution and Compliance Reports
Corrective Maintenance:
Responsible and accountable for tracking all escalated site incidence/fault from the NOC
Responsible for closing all trouble tickets in the NOC
Responsible for closure of site incidence/faulty with the agreed MTTR in the Service level agreement with the vendor
Responsible for spares requisition, replacement and return to the warehouse
Provide daily incidence/Fault reports
DCDG Hybrid Solution:
Provide Project support for all Solution rollout activities
Responsible for restoring sites back to Auto functionality
Responsible for the full functionality of the DCDG Hybrid Solution:
· Responsible for reporting solution status daily
· Responsible for raising intervention reports and Material
request for site rectification
MTM (Discovergy):
Provide Project support for all Solution rollout activities
Responsible for restoring sites back to full functionality
Responsible for the full functionality of the MTM (DISCOVERGY) Solution:
Responsible for reporting MTM solution status daily
Responsible for raising intervention reports and Material request for site rectification
Site Diesel Management:
Responsible for daily site diesel level reports
Responsible for estimating and calculating monthly diesel requirement for the RTO region
Responsible for site fuel delivery planning to ensure that no site failures associated with diesel outage
Responsible and accountable for site fuelling
Responsible to trigger diesel intervention for the region based on-site levels and DCDG Hybrid solution status
Responsible for site diesel over consumption
Requirements
First Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum of 6 (Six) years’ on hands experience, with a strong background in the telecoms industry preferably in Field Operations or Support capacity.
Disciplined, fast-paced & Innovative self-starter with an ability to manage evolving technology, re-evaluating objectives, procedures, processes to continuously improve network performance.
Good working knowledge of MS Office packages (Excel & Word).
