The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Safety & Security matters and implementing the Safety & Environment (EHS) and Security strategy and plans.
The incumbent will also manage and take responsibility for the occupational health and safety plans, including adherence to statutory requirements of various legislations governing occupational health and safety legal compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employee safety at work.
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
Initiate and organize OHStraining of employees and executives.
Drafts reports with findings and recommendations and follows- up all recommendations made to business.
Plans, executes investigations/ projects without supervision.
Requirements and Skills
B.Sc Degree or its equivalent in Safety Management, Engineering or relevant certification
Candidate must posses a minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant roles
