Job Overview


Our client, a start up in the Shopping & Retail industry is seeking to hire a E-Commerce Operations Officer who is skilled in managing and overseeing a diverse portfolio of cross-functional operational initiatives.


As a Junior E-Commerce Operations Officer you are to contribute to the growth of the business by enhancing the customer experience, executing customer order fulfilment and maintaining the technology and infrastructure.

Preferred candidate location: Ikeja and environs


Duties:



  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings where necessary.

  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

  • Communicating new product developments to prospective & existing customers.

  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives (online and offline).

  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

  • Supervise all inventory activities

  • Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and expenses

  • Assist with implementing, reviewing and improve strategies and processes

  • Prepare and communicate to management, weekly and monthly sales, and activities report

  • Providing management with feedback

  • Oversee both in-store and online sales, logistics, and accounts

  • Product and solutions research and development

  • And other tasks as assigned by the management


Required Qualification & Experience



  • B.A in Management, Business Administration or other related fields

  • Minimum of 2nd class lower grade

  • NYSC Discharge certificate or exemption letter

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite skills is mandatory (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project).

  • At least 2 years of experience in E-Commerce Operations or general operations role


Other Key Requirements


The ideal candidate must have:



  • Zero tolerance for shoddy work.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Mandatory)

  • Strong understanding of data analysis and statistics.

  • Competence in Inventory management is an added advantage

  • Should reside around Ikeja axis


Remuneration


N70,000.00 net monthly, HMO and other benefits included.
