In order to continue to provide outstanding quality service to its clients, the firm is now seeking to recruit exceptional Lawyers with corporate commercial and corporate finance.

You will provide legal representation to corporations, advise clients on a broad range of corporate issues and represent them in litigation, transactions, and regulatory compliance. You will work in a variety of environments, ranging from small, entrepreneurial corporations to large corporations. In addition, you will advise and resolve complex legal and business issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft contracts, leases, and other documents


• Promote and enforce company policies


• Prepare, review, and monitor basic corporate contracts and agreements


• Manage litigation and other legal claims


• Advise management on relevant legal matters


• Develop and oversee litigation and dispute resolution strategies


• Manage outside counsel


• Represent the company in court or before administrative agencies


• Develop and submit reports to senior management

• Manage corporate legal matters, including forming, maintaining, and dissolving entities and legal contracts, and resolving disputes


• Perform initial screenings of documents to determine legal effect and significance


• Evaluate and manage risk presented by new contracts


• Perform or oversee negotiations and drafting of contracts


• Attend meetings and depositions, such as arbitrations and trials


• Prepare and review contracts, budgets, and reports


• Manage legal staffing to achieve business goals


• Advise management team on legal needs and prepare legal briefs


• Represent the firm at law conferences and legal seminars


• Develop new legal products


• Serve as legal advisor to business units


• Develop new legal approaches


• Maintain awareness of new legal developments and changes in regulations

Requirements and Skills:

• LLB (LLM will be an advantage)


• 2+ years experience in corporate law


• Experience with commercial lease transactions and lease renewal negotiations


• Experience in commercial loan transactions and loan workouts


• Knowledge of general business law and procedures


• Knowledge of state and municipal
