- Consult with SBU head and provide daily HR guidance
- Supervise all HRBP’s activities and render HRBP monthly report
- Prepare monthly salary report to finance
- Prepare monthly report of HR activities for each SBU
- Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
- Identify recruitment gaps and source for qualified candidates
- Drive the implementation of policies and ensure adherence
- Drive Talent management strategies though the SBU
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures.
- Report to Head- HR and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
- Suggest new HR strategies
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Key Performance Metrics
- TAT for resolving staff issues
- Timely submission of performance appraisal report
- 85% achievement of learning and development activities
- Timely submission of SDC report
- Timely submission of monthly report
- Monthly drive of HR’s policies
- TAT for recruitment of vacant positions
- Reduction of attrition rate of SBU
Requirements
Minimum Qualification
- At least 7 years work experience as an HRBP (preferably in downstream, or consulting space)
- BSC in any related field
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Must be located in Warri, Nigeria or Be Willing to Relocate
