Job Description
The IT Support Officer will assist with on-going projects such as Converge, Sage, etc. and will assist in supporting and maintaining all IT infrastructure. The function will also assist with all IT helpdesk requests and ensure regular and periodic backup of all systems.
The IT Support Officer will be required to understand the business strategy, propose technology solutions to help drive the business and implement the solution and ensure that all business processes are continuously improved and automated where applicable
Responsibilitie(s):
- DevOps engineer – configure and manage IT projects deployment and go live using CI/CD
- Website security administrator – ensure that 2FA is enforced on all HH websites, software and plugins are update to date, grant and revoke access to the backend of the website to authorised/unauthorised users
- System and software security administrator – ensure that all operating systems and software are up to date
- Provide IT Help Desk services at first and second level.
- Setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
- Database administration – support the IT enterprise architect in managing and maintaining all databases
- T vendor manager – manage vendor relationship for all IT vendors, ensure the exact delivery of IT assets and ensure the vendors are paid on time.
- Cloud security engineer and administrator – configure and deploy and manage resources on the cloud that are highly secure without compromising on availability
- Network administrator – configure, deploy and manage the IT network infrastructure, ensure 99% uptime and ensure all network equipment are on the latest stable version
- Backup administrator – Ensure that all systems, on premise and cloud servers are backed up and the backup file can be restored successfully.
Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in IT Cloud and On premise Infrastructure Support in a corporate/service company.
- BSc in Computer Science or related field
