Hello!

We are a new diagnostic laboratory in Wuse II, Abuja; and we are recruiting for a young and agile Diagnostic Laboratory Operations Manager that would lead us as we transition for accreditation to start-up operations. This is a leadership role that reports to the management team and handles all staff within the laboratory. 

Job Description

• Supervise the maintenance of all facilities, equipment, and assets of the laboratory


• Recruitment of all staff and management of staff including onboarding 


•  Coordinating all patient and client scheduling and billing 


• Ensure accurate documentation while maintaining privacy and confidentiality of patient/client data


• Maintain thorough and accurate record keeping of expenses, revenues, patient data and other business critical information 


• Coordinate the training of staff members on the use clinical software and integration with their processes alongside our EHR partners 


• Coordinate correspondence with government agencies/standards and other related regulatory bodies, ensuring strict compliance to obligations


• Manage payables and receivables from corporate/organizations and vendors (billing, collection and invoices) 

Requirements

• Tertiary education in a reputable institution with at least 2 years of experience in operations management in a clinical setting 


• Experience working with HMOs 


• Excellent computer skills and tech savvy 


• Excellent people and leadership skills 


• Strong project management skills


• Strong communication (written and oral) skills


• Well-dressed and well-spoken
