Job Description
Job Objective:
Manages and oversees all aspects of the bank’s projects as may be assigned to ensure it is completed on-time, per budget and within quality standard. Has responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal stakeholders and external vendors, and contractual deliverables. Prepares reports (status update, portfolio etc.) regarding status of projects.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Business Requirement Analysis and Interpretation
- Translation of all business requirement to technical application (especially T24)
- Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Ensure organizational process alignment
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform project risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Prepare regular project reports, status updates etc.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Meet budgetary objectives & make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Essential Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:
- Three to Five years’ cognate project management and Business Analyst experience in IT related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of the T24 Core Banking Application
- Minimum of a first degree in Project Management, Technology or any related discipline
- Relevant professional certification(s) such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 and/or a second degree are added advantages
- Excellent client-facing skills, emotional intelligence and objective in approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office package
