Description

Job Summary:

Take responsibility for moving goods around warehouses or other industrial sites using forklifts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating forklifts to move pallets of products between storage racks and workstations


• Inspecting pallets to ensure that they are structurally sound and safe for use


• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of machinery.


• Operate all Forklift in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.


• Ensure Forklift is safely and securely stored.


• Participate in routine maintenance of forklift.


• Recommend any requirements for maintenance or repairs to the Shift Manager.


• Practice workplace safety.

Requirements

Academic / Professional Qualifications:

• SSCE + 5 years’ work experience.


• Trade Test 1,2,3 + 2 years’ work experience

Work Experience

• SSCE + 5 years’ work experience.


• Trade Test 1,2,3 + 2 years’ work experience


• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the operation of Forklift
