Responsibilities

• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures, protocols and by managing people, processes and systems.


• Coordinates the investigation of unsafe conditions through the application of the company’s safety standards.


• Complies with the federal, state and local warehousing processes, material handling requirements, etc.


• Ensure the daily reports of the warehouse are completed in stipulated time.


• Work closely with the transportation manager to resolve issues between warehousing and distribution processes.


• Ensure that all the supplies are received, documented, processed and proper acknowledgment given as at when due.


• Plan, assign and address complaints and resolve problems within the shortest time frame possible.


• Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.

Requirements

• B.Sc in Business Administration, Agriculture or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years warehouse management experience preferably from an agrochemical company.


• Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.


• Must be pro-active, self-motivated, goal-oriented, confident, flexible and adaptable to a fast-working environment.


• Must be willing to expand his/her working hours.


• Must be skilled in MS-Word, Excel and internet savvy.


• Ability to work with little or no supervision,


• Ability to meet and deliver on deadlines.


• Must be a good team player.
