Main Purpose:
The Business Strategy Manager for Explicit Communications Limited ensures a smooth delivery of financial commitments through the development of innovative brand solutions, compelling brand commercial programs, and robust execution.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate in this full-time role based in Lagos Mainland.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delight and retain the customers in line with the company's strategic goal.
- Bring new innovations to grow the business portfolio.
- Provides input into brands strategy review (situational analysis)
- Developing annual operating systems and channel plans with aligned brands priorities and objectives
- Managing Integrated Marketing Plan (IMP) & resulting programs
- Managing new product introduction and activation (NPI)
- Develops appropriate insight and ensures insights, channel & opportunities are incorporated into all strategies and plans
- Incorporate and manages the research processes with team where appreciate.
- Foster and manage new business strategies and opportunity.
- To expand the customer base of the business.
- Establish relationships with clients from African countries and other countries in a multicultural environment
- Identify and solve key cross-functional business challenges.
- Conduct market research, identify gaps, and lead solution development plays the ground.
- Responsible for gathering and analysing competitor information and developing activities to counteract anticipated competitor plans
- Tracks, analyses and evaluates all brand and trade initiatives to ensure business results are achieved.
- Develop & updates generic planograms and looks of success aligned to brand strategy
- Ensures communication to all relevant stakeholders during projects
- Ensures that all business management standards, processes and procedures are applied and adhered to in all activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5years experience in full fledge integrated Marketing Communication best practices.
- Excellent writing, reporting and presentation skills,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in attracting and maintaining relationships with B2B clients.
- Analytical mindset, strategic planning skills, startup mindset, result-oriented and flexible
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics or related field.
- Extensive marketing experience with history of demonstrated success in Business Strategy and Account Planning/Management.
- Cross function and Agency collaboration and Team Oriented.
