Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Review and report on elements of financial statement.
- Daily vouching of transactions.
- Validate and report the daily movement of goods within operational departments.
- Verify and validate supplies to store.
- Execute periodic cash count exercise.
- Review controls and recommend areas for improvement.
- Conduct compliance review and report observations.
- Participate in stock-count exercise.
- Report on such matters that may require urgent attention to the head of department.
- Execute other official assignments as may be required by the head of department.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess Bachelor's / Higher National Diploma with not less than 2:2 in Accounting or related disciplines.
- 2 years relevant work experience is preferred.
- Professional qualification in ACA or ICAN (minimum skill level).
- Sound audit knowledge.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Skills and Personal Qualities:
- Candidate must possess significant experience in an end-to-end audit role within a complex & high activity environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Possess technical knowledge and application of IFRS
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess advance knowledge in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Power point)
- Critical thinking & Ethical behaviours.
