Responsibilities

• Managing a busy newsroom that churns out 30 to 40 articles daily


• Ability to leverage on well connected contacts of newsmakers within NM and the finance industry


• Work closely with writers and analysts on breaking news and features


• Manage a team of freelancers and analyst


• Good grasp of the Nigerian economy and politics, eloquent and can appear on TV.

Requirements / Essential Skills

• University Degree in Finance, Economics, Mass Communication or Business Management, with a minimum of second class


• Candidates should possess a Master's Degree/Postgraduate qualification with evidence of Certifications


• Must have with 7 - 10 years work experience as Managing Director.


• Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing tools


• A passion for fast pace, highly engaging environment


• Extrovert, charismatic and with sound verbal and written communication skills


• Great eye for design and details


• Have basic SEO skills, computer skills (programming, an advantage)


• Must be familiar with Microsoft Teams, Office and Grammarly.
