As an Anglophone Senior Tax Manager, you will be a functional Subject Matter Expert in tax accounting, compliance, forecasting, modelling and analysis. You will play a leading role in knowledge management to share and convey information about new approaches and best practices.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing commercial support, BD support, tax technical analysis, policy interpretation, support with transaction execution and management of CIT audits.
- Handling communication with colleagues and business leaders about change of policy and implementation. Ability to communicate complex messages to other
- Advising management in the function and/or in the business. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects.
- Acting frequently as a project leader in projects involving the business and other functions. Projects have a long term horizon ( 2- 3 years) and results will be visible after at least 2 years
- Supporting new accounting systems and ensuring automation of tax accounting, Tax audit tracker and other new Tax tools.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field from an accredited university or college.
- Have a minimum 7 years of experience in Tax Accounting within Big 4 or US multinational.
- Have a good working knowledge of ASC 740, FIN 48 and other US GAAP tax accounting concepts.
- Have a good understanding of local countries’ tax laws and regulations in the region.
- Have the Knowledge of local Statutory financial statements principles in the region is a plus.
- Have experience in using OneSource Tax Provision.
- Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate ( please indicate clearly on resume)
- Be process-oriented and have critical thinking skills.
