Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for vendors, merchants and sellers.
- Prospect for and sign-up new sources for products and merchandise, as well as develop sourcing strategies for increasing business.
- Participate in negotiations with vendors, merchants, sellers and suppliers.
- Manage relationships with all sources, prepare strategic relationships and observe the performance of all activities.
- Develop and evaluate all RFI and RFPs as well as maintain and execute SLAs.
- Maintain costs and prepare estimates for all costing and pricing goals
- Maintain knowledge on various market trends and recommend sourcing strategies for the company.
- Ensure compliance to all quality standards for products.
- Administer all performance metrics such as delivery time, price scanning and price variance.
- Manage Inventory Reports, Low Stock Reports and Re-Order Levels
- Demand forecasting
- Coordinate with Head, Sourcing to ensure products availability at all time
- Analyze ERP system and develop improvement plans to ensure better management of sources.
- Buying & merchandising Products·
- Follow-up with suppliers to deliver & ensure that maximum fill rate is delivered.
- Market survey and benchmarking of SKUs & brands.
- Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock
- Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans
- Creating consumer promotion in comparison with competition and ensuring promotions are implemented
- Sales and margin monitoring.
- Taking action to adjust prices or set promotions as necessary
- Visit competitor stores at least once weekly.
- Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with them as when they occur.
- Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season
- Analyzing the previous season’s sales and forecasting on current season’s sales
- Identifying gaps and opportunities to increase sales.
- New product listing and initial detailing on a weekly basis
- Product delisting on a monthly basis.
- Monitoring the desired levels of stock in stores, managing bottom line profitability through effective sales, stock targets, cost control and allocations.
- Ensure organizational OKR is achieved and strictly adhered to.
Qualification and Experience
- BSc / HND
- 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer, sourcing officer or in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Attention to detail.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
