Job Description

• Senior Data Officer responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design.


• Senior Data Officer will develop analysis and reporting capabilities.


• He/she will also monitor performance to identify improvements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform data analyzing to present findings, or translate the data into an understandable document;


• Collect and collate data to use it to help the organisation to make better decisions;


• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques;


• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases;


• Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;

Job Requirements

• HND / Bachelor's Degree with 4-6 years experience in the related field. Bachelor in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration.


• Strong knowledge of Google Suite would be an advantage;


• Previous work experience in NGOs would be an advantage;


• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality in performing responsibilities;


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;


• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques;


• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases;


• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (SPSS, etc.);


• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings;


• Strong interpersonal & intercultural skills with an attention to detail;
