About the job
- To drive and communicate the digital and innovation transformation in the affiliate and participates in the work to develop and implement the Operating Model that positions D&I entity to adapt to a rapidly changing and complex environment and be able to respond adequately to business and users’ digital and innovation needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Within the affiliate, the Change Management Lead is responsible for coordinating activities and programs aimed at promoting and deepening D&I culture and mindset in the affiliate and for facilitating training programs aimed at developing the right competencies at every staff cadre to accelerate the digital transformation of the affiliate.
Therefore, s/he is responsible for the following activities:
- Develop a detailed communications plan with D&I workstream leads:
- Define stakeholders, communications purpose, content, and information channels
- Determine timeline for rollout
- Develop, socialize, and disseminate all communications
- Draft all communication materials
- Socialize communications with key and relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate to manage the dissemination of communications to stakeholders
- Celebrate successes of D&I programs to inspire all employees:
- Identify D&I successes to celebrate
- Define and implement approach to capture success and share it broadly
- Organize digital and innovation events such as Digital & Innovation Week, Hackathon, Seminars, Bootcamp etc. in conjunction with both internal and external D&I collaborators.
- Plan the activities of the D&I networks and communities as well as manage the various D&I communication channels and platforms.
- Implement change management programs aimed at motivating users to participate in the affiliate’s digital transformation journey.
- Daily supervision of the activities of the innovation rooms in the Lagos and Port-Harcourt Offices.
- Support the Design & Innovation Manager to develop and maintain “Open Innovation” partnerships with external collaborators and to facilitate and fast track development of new and (or) ongoing innovative ideas or prototypes.
- Collate, structure, update and publish D&I users guides, procedures and reference documents in the Corporate Management System (CMS) in collaboration with other D&I personnel.
- Lead the audit of D&I process and quality control and making recommendations for improvement. Ensures the quality of digital products being deployed by D&I by conducting periodic users’ feedback/survey as well as evaluating and reporting the SLAs and KPIs of D&I services.
Qualifications
- A university degree with minimum of 4 years of industry experience and a deep knowledge and understanding of the strategic opportunities offered by Innovation and Digital.
- Excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of Innovation Management, Digital transformation, Agile methodology, Change Management and Communication. Must possess strong relationship management skills.
- Must be creative, possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as diverse communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Should have excellent sense of organization, time management and methods.
