Job Summary

• We are looking for a senior embedded systems engineer who will be an integral part of the entire systems process from the initial idea to the finished product.


• This position requires a high degree of flexibility as well as analytical and interpersonal skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures documentation of design specifications and implementations details.


• Take responsibility for the design and overall quality of the hardware systems.


• Lead and provide guidance and directions to junior engineers.


• Ensures that product architecture supports the priorities of the business goals.


• Realization of complex system requirements to provide robust and reliable hardware solutions


• Lead design reviews.


• Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.


• Responsible for the complete implementation of detailed technical items and an understanding/appreciation of system level items.


• Help departments use technology profitably.


• Collaboration with other team members (including both hardware and software engineers, QA) to agree system designs, interfaces and protocols etc.


• Communicate technology strategy to stakeholders, departments including technical support, sales, finance, etc.


• Apply stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.


• Execute and Monitor KPIs to assess technological performance


• Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of systems projects to market.

Qualification & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. MBA will be an added advantage.


• Minimum of 5 years in Embedded Systems Engineering.


• 3-4years proven experience in similar leadership role.


• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.


• Extensive knowledge of IoT industry.


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.


• Good leadership and organizational abilities, ability to delegate efficiently.


• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.


• Strategic thinking, Attention-to-Details and Problem-solving aptitude.


• Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.


• Exceptional team management skills.
