Build and lead the team required to deliver on the strategy and growth ambitions
Serve as the face of the organization to stakeholders, partners, government entities, and the general public
Develop and uphold the company’s culture and mission
Develop and continuously refine the strategy and strategic priorities for the business
Leverage various data sources (external trends, internal data, stakeholder feedback, current legislation, etc.) to continuously optimize strategic plans and accelerate growth ambitions.
Develop strategic partnerships to drive customer acquisition, foster growth, and scale the business
Determine optimal balance sheet structure for the new business (equity, debt, etc)
Drive investor engagement and communications, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential funding partners
Lead fundraising rounds and development and design of the preferred structure to facilitate Successful execution
Develop and manage implementation roadmap to drive strategy execution and deliver on-target results
Create systems to monitor daily operations and financial performance, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement and profitability
Design KPIs and performance audits to evaluate the success (in line with strategic objectives) of business and strategic partners
Requirements:
Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in any discipline, particularly in business-related degrees.
Additional qualifications/certifications in process improvement (e.g., Six sigma) or any business-related discipline would be an advantage.
Commercial exposure, with experience in launching new products/businesses, creating successful partnerships, and driving revenue targets.
Track record of successfully leading and coordinating teams
Previous experience in driving operational excellence, process improvement, project transformation, or similar management roles.
Strong knowledge of and/or experience in the automotive value chain (e.g. car leasing/financing, e-hailing, logistics, etc.) and/or raising financing for a business venture/project/concept would be a plus.
Excellent negotiation skills
Technology savvy
Strong knowledge of consumer finance, financing structures, and previous experience in raising finance would be an advantage
Business savvy, with proven ability to interpret global business climate and leverage that information/data to drive decision-making and allocate resources.
