Job Description

• We are seeking for an organized candidate to join our supermarket as a supervisor, who will supervise all shopping floor activities including assisting customers, monitoring employees, and managing inventory.


• The candidate is responsible for ensuring that all shopping floor requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the floor staff (Cashier and Shelf Attendant).


• Training of floor staff to perform assigned roles.


• Ensuring that items are well labelled with names and prices.


• Assisting customers with any queries or requests.


• Supervising the shift and off-days calendar/schedule.


• Ensuring that daily operations are not hindered.


• Ensuring the POS, Official phone, and all other operational gadgets are in order and available for use.


• Assisting in the receiving of goods from suppliers.


• Supporting the Inventory Department when necessary.


• Ensuring accuracy of orders for deliveries to customers.


• Liaising with the inventory to ensure the store is properly stocked.

Requirements

• OND / B.Sc / HND in Social Science related discipline.


• 2 - 4 years of working experience in a supermarket.


• Prior experience in a supervisory position.


• Ability to use MS-Office and other inventory software.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Highly organized.


• Ability to exhibit transformational leadership skill
