About the job
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adequate space management that guarantee ease of access, identification and retrieval of allinventory items stored.
- Coordinate and management all inventory requests (IBTs & Purchases).
- Monitor and control all inventory receipts and issues.
- Ensure timely updating of all inventory related transactions.
- Generate periodic (weekly & monthly) reports on damaged, expiring, expired, obsolete and slow-moving inventory items.
- Generate relevant inventory reports (pricing, lead-time, inventory turnover, and valuation and make recommendations.
- Monitor stock and determine appropriate levels per inventory per location.
- Coordinate periodic inventory counts at all locations monthly.
- Review cost from suppliers regularly and recommend changes where necessary.
- Review and manage inventory costs.
- Process as well as supervise GRN processing.
- Ensure zero theft/pilferages.
- Any other duty as assigned by Head of Finance
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Recognized professional accreditation (ICAN /ACA /CIMA/ ACCA etc.) will be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5 years' professional experience.
