We are hunting for a self-motivated and experienced teacher to join our qualified team of educators to teach students of diverse age group in the following subjects:

1. Mathematics


2. Physics


3. Chemistry


4. Geography

Job Description; As a teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating the students’ interest in education and development. Your responsibilities will be and not limited to grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, and planning educational activities. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Our client is an Islamic faith based co-educational secondary school located in Akure, Ondo state.

Responsibilities:

• Research for textbooks, software, equipment, or other learning materials to complement tutoring.


• Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and lesson notes.


• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.


• Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.


• Maintain records of students' assessment results, progress, feedback, or school performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.


• Develop teaching or training materials, such as handouts, study materials, or quizzes.


• Proficient in the use of the computer and internet(desirable).


• Must possess leadership, student centered teaching, excellent and effective written and communication skills.


• Competent in the field/areas of specialization.


• Supervising classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.

Requirements/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, B.Sc with PGDE, B.Ed in English and specified subjects.


• A minimum of 3 years experience as a teacher.


• A knowledge of Cambridge Standard will be an added advantage.


• An Education qualification/certification is highly preferred


• Teacher must be able to teach WAEC AND JAMB CLASS


• Cognate experience in preparing learners for external examinations


• Certification in IGCSE and CHECKPOINT will be given high preference.

• BSc/BEd: 35,000 - 40,000 (All other Subjects)


• BSc/BEd 40,000 - 45,000 (English, Lit-in-English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology)


• PGDE 45,000 - 50,000


• MEd 50,000 - 55,000
