About the Role
- The APM will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering & prioritizing product requirements, working closely with the scrum master, engineering, design, product marketing, legal, compliance, risk, customer experience and settlement operations to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
As an associate product manager, you will:
- Understand the pain points and needs of customers and prospects.
- Work closely with the lead PM to understand the product vision, roadmap and rationale for the key features and capabilities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into product requirements from product marketing, legal, compliance, regulatory, risk, settlement operations, customer experience and executive management
- Properly document these product requirements in a format easily understood and accessible by all stakeholders.
- Define and build features that increase the overall customer retention and conversion rates of existing products.
- Work with designers, developers, QA testers and subject matter experts to get requirements well scoped, designed, tested, and launched.
- Be able to drive disruptive innovative solutions in a customer centric and agile environment.
- Monitor and understand the key metrics governing your product features, with an eye toward continuously improving them through ongoing product innovation.
- Work with design & engineering to conduct experiments (A/B tests) to optimize the product in pursuit of an improved customer experience and business metrics
- Be able to analyze data with or without the data team to identify new business opportunities as it relates to your product area.
- Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with the development team.
- Keep stakeholders updated on product development, timelines, and trade-offs
Job Requirements
You're a great match for this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of 4 years of work experience, with 2 years of relevant product management or technology development experience.
- Experience with a Payment Terminal Service Provider
- Excellent understanding of the B2B and B2C financial technology ecosystem - locally and globally.
- Demonstrated success defining or/and launching excellent consumer or business facing features.
- Proven ability to understand the business and engineering terminologies and engage both sides effectively.
- Ability to display a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to dive into and learn a specific domain.
- Excellent knowledge of the agile methodology.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience working in digital lending services is a plus.
- Ability to make decisions and adapt quickly to change.
