Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ajah, Lagos
We are seeking for a detail-oriented Accountant to assist in the Finance Department. The candidate is to keep financial records updated, checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling facility app portal records with bank statement
- Keeping track of all payments.
- Preparing residents performance reports in terms of expenses incurred and revenue generated.
- Setting up of new resident on the company’s app & attending to payment related issues from the residents
- Review accounts payable vouchers for maintenance and repair costs.
- Monitoring spending and budgets
- Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
- Maintaining financial records
- Checking invoices and confirming payments
- Resolving accounts to the general ledger
- Handling queries related to accounts
- Maintaining digital and physical records of invoices and contracts
Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Accounting or any related field
- At least 3 years’ working experience as an Account Officer
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAGE
- Solid analytical skills
- Detail-oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Time management abilities
- Able to work well within a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
