Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a Human Resource Generalist to implement the HR function and deliver value-added service to management, and employees that reflects the business objectives of their organization
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out payroll activities to ensure payment of salaries in line with the approved date and deductions or remittance of PAYE, Pension, NHF and NSITF payments are in line with regulatory mandates.
- Advise treasury of other employee benefits to be paid or accrued for (as required)
- Carry out disciplinary procedures in line with policy and write disciplinary reports Work with departmental heads to agree KPIs for defined periods
- Set up the performance portal in readiness for appraisals
- Work with the HR Manager to conclude on appraisal outcomes and communicate performance outcome as deliberated and agreed.
- Drafting & implementation of policies in line with organization’s strategy
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university;
- 3-5 years of post-NYSC HR experience
- HR certification or professional affiliation is an added advantage
