As a result of business expansion, we seek a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their leadership team.
As COO, you will have defined responsibilities for growing businesses as well as driving efficiencies in our operations and procedures across different functions.
As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company.
As a member of the leadership team, you will be expected to demonstrate outstanding technical knowledge and experience and be conversant with emerging risks and trends. Your business acumen and people skills must be ethically grounded.

Job Responsibilities
To develop and establish operating policies consistent with the company's goal.
To make sure that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations
To participate in the adoption of short-term and long-term plans and budgets based upon broad organizational goals and objectives and to recommend their adoption to the chief executive officer
To convert vision into specific actionable strategies and plans
To evaluate performance and recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions
To delegate authority and responsibility as appropriate
To undertake special projects as directed by the Managing Partner
To analyze and recommend changes in the organization system for both current and future market trends
To resolve problems related to staffing, utilization of facilities, and management of the company.
Advising and evaluating department heads and managers on performance and compliance with goals
Always keeping the Managing partner informed of the major shifts and changes in the organization.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related area.
Proven experience in Chief Operating Officer relevant role
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
MBA will be an added advantage.
8 years and above work experience.
In-depth knowledge of the company’s system.
Experience in fundraising will be a plus
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
