- We are looking to engage an Junior Mechanical Engineer, who will use engineering skills to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions requiring the development or sustaining of new or improved techniques, procedures, or products. Complete planning, evaluation, design, and implementation of innovative approaches to meet the project objectives in a timely fashion.
- Support and maintain day-to-day reliable operations, and minimize equipment out of service.
- Propose new construction, modifications, programs, etc. to maintain and optimize equipment performance.
- Develop continuous improvements solutions and formulate proposals by collecting, analyzing information and data relative to operating requirements, economic considerations and other pertinent factors.
- Direct, coordinate, advise and technically support to sustain asset integrity and reliability of wide range of static and rotating equipment.
- Develop and manage PM programs, evaluating equipment performance, recommending improvements and new technologies, specifying materials, supporting equipment operation and managing small upgrades and construction projects.
- Developing safety standards for machinery or manufacturing processes
- Plan and conduct audits and surveillances to verify the implementation and effectiveness of Quality Plans, Procedures and processes, including: NCR; Technical Deviation Notice (TDN); Field Change Notice (FCN); Audit/Surveillance; Request for Information (RFI), e.t.c
- Risk Management with respect to Quality, including identification of quality risks and mitigation through the implementation of quality assurance and quality control
Requirements
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and other related field of study
- Relevant certifications, registrations, and licenses is required.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience at an engineering consulting firm .
- Demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering field
- COREN registered.
