Job Description

• We are looking to engage aJunior Structural Engineer, who will support all project phases and detailed engineering, and will be responsible to apply engineering principles and experience to the development of various structural engineering deliverables, while also effectively communicating with other engineering disciplines and the client.


• Research, plan and design structural solutions for a wide range of industrial facilities.


• Responsible for completing structural analysis and design of complex structures fabricated from structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood, and design of complex foundations, including pile- and soil-supported.


• Responsible for review of structural shop drawings and data. Interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, and designers.


• Responsible for the preparation of construction drawings and specification packages


• Familiarize and implement the procedures as stated in the PM Manual


• Project monitoring in strategically manner


• Review and supervise structural engineering and architectural design works

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation and/or metallurgical/mineral process industries.


• Proficiency with structural engineering and design software (e.g., RISA-3D, STAAD) required.


• Ability to produce quality work under the constraints of the project.


• Knowledge of applicable model codes addressing structural design/engineering (e.g., ACI, IBC, AISC, ANSI, ASCE).
