Job Description



  • The primary purpose of this role is to provide operational support for the Lifeline Asset Finance (LAF) activities of Mkobo Microfinance Bank.

  • The Operations officer ensures that all operational activities for LAF partners and riders are carried out efficiently with a high level of professionalism and superior customer service.


Responsibilities



  • Engaging LAF Partner representatives and officers on LAF-related matters

  • Conduct rider's pre-screening and onboarding exercises

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on all matters involving LAF riders and ensure a speedy resolution to service issues.

  • Conduct rider’s sensitization upon successful screening

  • Conducts daily monitoring and tracking of the motorcycles assigned to LAF Partners/Riders

  • Oversee daily operational activities of the riders and partner-related matters

  • Responsible for Bike recovery in the event of payment default by riders. Works closely with the Risk team and the Recovery officer to achieve a 100% recovery rate.

  • Liaise with the accounts team for speedy processing of LAF expense vouchers and following up with payment.

  • Follow up with service centres for quick repairs and servicing of bikes

  • Engage all third-party service providers for Asset insurance, tracking, and registration processing.

  • Act as the first point of call in providing operational support for the LAF riders

  • Escalate to the COO all issues which require management decision and authorization.


Qualifications



  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.

  • Previous work experience is a plus

  • Good command of written and verbal English

  • Friendly and welcoming manner with clients and other members of the team

  • Action-Oriented and should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.

  • Ability to understand and explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner to riders

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Ability to maintain a calm and polite manner in stressful situations

  • Willingness to cooperate with customers and management to resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Passion for delivering amazing customer experience

  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
