The Opportunity



  • IHS Towers is expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our team as Specialist, Facilities Management in Nigeria.

  • The individual will support the effective and efficient delivery of facility management services through timely processing of requests and transactions.


Key Responsibilities



  • Process all procurement transactions related to facility management, from initiation to completion.

  • Provide inputs to the preparation of the facilities management and maintenance budget (Opex and Capex).

  • Follow up with the Treasury unit to ensure that all payments due to vendors are provided.

  • Supervise the team of auxiliary staff working out of company-owned and/ or - leased residential locations.

  • Ensure monthly salaries of outsourced facility management staff are processed, approved and paid on time.

  • Organize annual seminars/ training for auxiliary staff.

  • Track and monitor costs to ensure compliance with the unit’s budget.

  • Log and analyse all facility management and maintenance requests. Where applicable, acknowledge the requests and provide feedback/ updates to internal users/ customers.

  • Assist in documenting the company’s short- and long-term infrastructure/ facility requirements.

  • Assist in the acquisition and/ or leasing of facilities to meet the company’s identified residential and/ or office needs.

  • Reconcile the service charge reports obtained from all residential facilities.

  • Assist with the administration of regional facilities maintenance contracts/ lease agreements.

  • Assist in ensuring that facility management activities are in line with defined health, safety and environment (HSE) standards and legislation.

  • Collate data from Regional Facility Management Analysts as inputs to periodic reports.

  • Administer periodic customer satisfaction surveys to identify service improvement areas across regions with regards to the office environment, utilities, etc.

  • Escalate critical pending issues for the attention of the Manager, Facilities Management.

  • Collate utility bills for processing of payment.

  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager, Facilities Management.


Key Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.

  • +5 - 7 years’ relevant experience.
