Requirements

• 3-5 Minimum Experience in a similar management position


• Bsc/Msc Finance /Accounting /Economics or Related Relevant Courses


• ICAN Member /ACCA/CIMA or relevant Accountant Accreditation


• Advanced Excel skills function properly


• Cost Accounting Experience


• Knowledge and Excellent use of accounting Packages –


• Sage/Peachtree/QuickBooks


• Experience with creating financial statements, i.e. General Ledgers, profit and loss


• statements, trial balance, cash flow statements, balance sheets


• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process, business ratios etc.


• Knowledge of FIRS and LIRS tax laws and payments processing


• Budget Forecasting and Financial Planning

Other Skills

• Experience in FMCG Accounting

• Manage and co-ordinate the entire accounting activities of the company

Job Description

• Managing all financial and accounting operations


• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances


• Preparing and publishing timely weekly and monthly financial statements


• Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost


• Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition


• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting


• Support month-end and close year-end process


• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting


• Manage and comply with local state (LIRS), and federal government reporting


• requirements tax filings (FIRS)


• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and


• strengthen internal controls
