Our client, a Pan African Investment firm is looking to hire a Private Equity Analyst who will be involved in the deal sourcing, analysis, execution, monitoring and exit of private equity investments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  

  Develop financial models using appropriate tools

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare investment committee memorandums and participate in investment committee presentations

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in the due diligence/ underwriting process on new potential investments

  
  


• 
  

  Work with the deal team on portfolio management of select assets

  
  


• 
  

  Function as a contact for existing funds and joint venture relationships

  
  


• 
  

  Support the development of recommendations and action plans for investments based on financial analysis

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct investment/ market research

  
  


• 
  

  Review and respond to requests from  investment partners

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with capital raising and various investor relations request

  
  

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 
  

  A BS/BA degree in Accounting or Economincs 

  
  


• 
  

  1 – 2 Post NYSC years of relevant experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity or in a similar function for an asset management company

  
  


• 
  

  ICAN or ACA qualified 

  
  


• 
  

  Strong financial modeling experience

  
  


• 
  

  Strong Interpersonal  and communicationskills
